How does the app work?
You discover activities near you, join one you like — or create your own — then use the activity chat to sort out the final details before meeting up.
Who is KINITY for?
Anyone who wants to do more, share a passion or meet people through an activity. Full eligibility requirements will be shared at launch.
Is it a dating app?
No. KINITY puts the activity and the shared experience first. People connect naturally through a common interest, without swiping or any promise of romance.

Can I join an activity on my own?
Yes, that is one of the main ways to use KINITY. You can join an activity that interests you without needing to know the other participants beforehand.
How do I create my own activity?
Add the activity, date, time, location and a few details that participants need to know. The idea is to publish a clear invitation in a few steps, without spending weeks planning.
What kinds of activities can I suggest?
Sport, hiking, cultural outings, outdoor activities, evenings out, new discoveries or shared passions: KINITY aims to welcome a wide range of activities that follow community rules and the law.
Can I see who is taking part?
Each activity shows the number of participants and their profiles to give you some context before meeting up. Exactly how much information is visible will depend on the privacy settings adopted at launch.
What happens if an activity is cancelled?
Participants will need to be informed through the activity so that everyone can adjust their plans. Detailed cancellation rules and notifications will be explained in the public version.

What is the activity chat for?
It helps you confirm a meeting point, let others know you are running late or clarify what to bring. It stays connected to the activity to keep conversations simple and easy to follow.
Do I need to chat for a long time before joining?
No. You can join an activity that suits you and use the chat only if there is a detail to sort out. At KINITY, the real moment starts when you get out there.
Who can access the chat?
The chat is linked to the people taking part in the activity. The final access rules, including what happens after someone leaves or an activity is cancelled, will be explained at launch.

How should I prepare for a first meetup?
Choose a public place, check the activity details and let someone close to you know if that helps you feel more comfortable. Everyone is free to leave an activity at any time if they feel uneasy.
Are profiles verified?
Profiles give you some context about participants, but a profile can never offer an absolute guarantee. The checks and trust features we adopt will be clearly explained before the service opens.
Will I be able to report or block someone?
KINITY plans to provide reporting and blocking tools to address inappropriate behaviour. Details of how they work and the moderation rules will be published with the app.
Who is responsible for making sure an activity runs smoothly?
The person creating an activity must provide honest, useful information. Each participant is also responsible for their own behaviour and safety, and for treating others with respect.

Will my exact location be visible?
The location chosen for an activity is visible so participants can meet there. The location data used to discover what is happening nearby will remain subject to your permissions and the app’s privacy settings.
How will my personal data be used?
KINITY will use the information needed to run your account and activities. Before the app is released, a privacy policy will explain what data is processed, why it is used and what rights you have.
Will I be able to delete my account?
Yes. Users will be able to manage and delete their accounts in line with applicable requirements. The exact process will be documented in the app.
When will KINITY be available?
