CHILD SAFETY

1. Our commitment

KINITY has zero tolerance for any form of child sexual abuse or exploitation (Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, CSAE) and any content depicting or facilitating child sexual abuse (Child Sexual Abuse Material, CSAM).

These standards cover the KINITY social app, published by KINITY SASU. They apply to all profiles, activities, images, messages, descriptions, links and behaviours accessible through the service.

2. Prohibited content and behaviour

It is strictly prohibited to use KINITY to create, publish, store, request, search for, exchange, sell, promote or facilitate, in particular:

• any sexual depiction of a minor, whether real, simulated or generated, and any link providing access to it;
• the sexual solicitation of a minor, arranging a meeting for sexual purposes, grooming or any attempt to build trust for the purpose of exploitation;
• sextortion, blackmail involving intimate images, trafficking or the sexual exploitation of a minor;
• statements that sexualise a minor, trivialise abuse or provide instructions for committing or concealing it;
• any attempt to contact, recruit, transport, accommodate or meet a minor for sexual or predatory purposes;
• threats, intimidation or retaliation against a victim, a witness or a person who has submitted a report.

This prohibition applies even if the content is presented as a joke, fiction, an archive, a montage or private content.

3. Adults-only service

KINITY is strictly limited to people aged 18 or over. Minors must not create an account or use the app. Any false declaration of age constitutes a violation of the terms of use.

When an account appears to belong to a minor, KINITY may immediately restrict access while carrying out checks and then suspend or delete it. This age limit in no way reduces our obligations to prevent and take action against CSAE and CSAM.

4. Reporting in KINITY

Any user can submit a report without leaving the app. From a person’s profile or an activity page, open the ••• menu, choose Signaler (Report), select the appropriate reason and add any useful information. You can also block the profile to stop visible interactions in the app.

If this process is unavailable, email contact@kinity.fr with the subject “Signalement sécurité enfants KINITY”. Without copying or sending illegal content, identify the profile or activity concerned, the date, the context and any information that may help locate the incident.

Do not download, forward or reshare content that may constitute CSAM. A report can be made in good faith even if you are unsure.

5. Review and action taken

Reports concerning a child’s safety are reviewed as a priority. Depending on the severity and the information available, KINITY may, in particular:

• immediately hide or remove content;
• limit exchanges, prevent users from connecting or restrict an account during the review;
• suspend or permanently delete an account, including for a first serious violation;
• securely retain only the information necessary for the investigation, evidence and compliance with our legal obligations;
• report confirmed incidents and content to the competent authorities or organisations, in accordance with applicable law;
• cooperate with a legally valid request from the police, gendarmerie or judicial authorities.

KINITY may not immediately inform the person concerned if doing so could compromise a victim’s safety, the preservation of evidence or an investigation. Clearly abusive reports may also result in moderation measures.

6. Authorities and legal obligations

KINITY complies with the laws and regulations applicable to child protection. As soon as the company becomes aware of CSAM or incidents involving CSAE, it takes appropriate steps to prevent access, preserve only the strictly necessary information and make the required reports to the French authorities or, where the situation requires, the competent organisations in the relevant territory.

In France, illegal online content or behaviour can also be reported through the official PHAROS portal. Reporting to KINITY never replaces a call to the emergency services or an official report.

7. Immediate danger and support in France

If a child is in serious or immediate danger, contact the police or gendarmerie without delay on 17, or the European emergency number on 112. Do not rely solely on KINITY’s reporting system.

• 119 — Allô enfance en danger : a free national service, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week;
• PHAROS : official reporting of illegal content and behaviour on the Internet;
• Point de Contact : a French platform for reporting illegal online content.

Outside France, contact the emergency services and child protection organisation responsible in the country where the person in danger is located.

8. Child safety contact

Google Play, authorities, specialist organisations and users can contact KINITY’s representative responsible for child safety at contact@kinity.fr.

This contact can explain KINITY’s review and enforcement procedures and coordinate the necessary measures. To help process your message, use the subject “Signalement sécurité enfants KINITY” and specify whether anyone is in immediate danger.

9. Updates to these standards

KINITY may update these standards to strengthen its measures, take account of observed risks or comply with changes in laws or regulations. The version and date of the last update appear at the top of this public page.
